- It causes you to question your parenting skills.
- You are taking the behavior personally.
- You may be needing something, hungry, tired, etc.
- You feel a lack of control in the situation.
- You feel your child is being disrespectful.
- You were already stressed/irritated.
- It triggers your shame or guilt.
- Their big reactions, trigger your anxiety or trauma.
- You expect they should know better.
- You didn’t realize their behavior is their way of communicating.
