Signs of Sensory Processing Disorder:
  • I am a picky eater & resist new foods & textures.
  • I have selective hearing or difficulty listening.
  • I have poor gross motor skills, such as running and riding a bike.
  •  I am always smelling people, food & objects.
  • I have difficulty dressing myself.
  • I sit with my legs in a “W” position.
  • I dislike being tickled or cuddled.
  • I put my socks on “just so” or maybe I never go barefoot.
  • I always walk on my tiptoes.
  • I dislike having my hair washed, cut or brushed.
  • I seem to be unaware of normal touch or pain; I often touch people too soft or too hard.
  • I have trouble focusing or concentrating.
  • I cry & shield my eyes from the sun and bright lights.
  • I have poor fine motor skills, such as writing and using scissors.
  • I am overly sensitive to loud sounds, such as vacuums & blenders.
  • I chew on everything.
